Mirconeedling Has Replaced Botox (1 hour - $180)

Microneedling (also known as collagen induction therapy) involves the use of fine needles to create tiny micro injuries to the skin, stimulating the body’s natural wound healing process, resulting in cell turnover and increased collagen production.  The truth is Botox is not cost effective, has no rejuvenating properties, only paralyses your muscles, wastes your money and time.  On the other hand, Platelet rich Plasma (PRP) and microneedling is the most natural way to correct your skin’s imperfections, by restoring your own thickness and strength to tissue.  It promotes truly natural tissue regeneration using your body’s own ability to stimulate the production of collagen.  The result is improved skin texture and thickness, reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Microneedling is used to target problem areas such as the tear troughs under the eyes, fine lines of the neck, crow’s feet, skin depressions and fine lines on the chest. Since the system relies on your own blood, there is no risk of adverse or allergic reaction.  During the process, a blend of customized active ingredients (such as growth factors, peptides, collagen, hyaluronic acid, etc.) are infused into the epidermis and dermis, nourishing and stimulating the regrowth of collagen and elastin. Platelet Rich Plasma, Microneedling For Hair Restoration (450$, 1hour 15 min)

PRP hair restoration is an alternative, non-surgical therapy for patients suffering from androgenic hair loss or who need hair growth stimulation.  PRP stands for Platelet Rich Plasma.  It has been used by Orthopedic Surgeons, in Sports Medicine, and by Oral Surgeons over the last 40 years to restore damaged joints, restore cartilage and speed up repair. Tiger Woods and Montreal Canadian's Goalie Carey Price had PRP done when they injured their lower limb a few years back.  The results with PRP have been shown to last up to two years or more. Platelet Rich Plasma procedures are also used to stimulate hair growth and or hair growth by 81% in men and 60% in women.

What is the ThreadLift™?  Forget Facial Botox! 

Better than Botox and longer lasting results between 6-9 months.  Even though it is still pending approval from Health Canada, the ThreadLift™ procedure is a non-surgical, no scar facelift performed using tiny surgical sutures or threads (called prolene sutures) to lift and support the droopy elements of the lips, brow, cheeks, face, and neck. Some threads have tiny “barbs” on each end that will grasp on to and lift the droopy soft tissue. The threads are inserted under the skin in precise locations using a small hollow needle.

Prolene sutures have been used in Canada for over 40 years in most surgeries including cardiovascular, oral and gynecological surgery as absorbable sutures.

Chemical Peels: TCA and Glycolic peels 

Trichloracetic Acid is a non-toxic chemical (TCA), which has been used to perform skin peels for over 20 years. It is a relative of vinegar (acetic acid.) When TCA is  applied to the skin, it causes the top layers of cells to dry up and peel off over a period of 5 to 10 days. When the old skin is peeled off, it exposes a new layer of undamaged skin, which is thicker, has a smoother texture, more even color and reverses the aging clock back 10 years. TCA is a medium deep peel that will take years of your face by getting rid of tiny lines and discolored skin.  Can be used on the arms, legs, chest, and back. It can also get rid of the "orange peel" effect between the breasts.  These two peels are more effective and longer lasting results than Beta Hydroxy, Alpha Hydroxy and Jessner peels for long term effects. They are only done by Healthcare Professionals. We advise you do not do them at home if you do not have experience as severe scaring and facial discoloration can occur permanently.

Microblading

Microblading is a tattooing technique in which a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin. Microblading differs from standard eyebrow tattooing because each hair stroke is created by hand using a blade which creates fine slices in the skin, whereas eyebrow tattoos are done with a machine and single needle. Microblading is typically used on eyebrows to create, enhance or reshape their appearance in terms of both shape and color.

Permanent Make-Up

Permanent make up is depositing small molecules of color into the basal layer of the skin. It is not intended as a substitute for your topical make-up. It is a base, you can play it up or play it down- but you will always have definition and colour in your face.
